Pixlide Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026 年 9 月 4 日
1. Introduction
Welcome to Pixlide. Pixlide is a photo organization tool for iPhone that helps you organize photos and videos in a few minutes each day. This Privacy Policy explains how Pixlide handles information related to photo organization, device storage analysis, purchase benefits, and app use in the current version.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the Pixlide iPhone App and its current photo organization features, including Daily Organization, Screenshot Organization, organization by month, On This Day, Similar Photos, Best Shot, Blurry Photos, Large Files, Favorite, system album operations, and Delete Preview.
This policy does not apply to the data practices of Apple Photos, iCloud Photos, the App Store, or other Apple services themselves. When using these services, you should also read the Apple Privacy Policy and applicable service terms.
3. Photo Library Permissions
Pixlide requests access to the system photo library through Apple PhotoKit. Permissions are controlled by iOS, and you can change them at any time in system settings.
3.1 Full Access
When you grant full photo access, Pixlide may read, on the current device, the necessary identifiers, types, dates, dimensions, Favorite status, album relationships, and local content needed for thumbnails or analysis for the photos and videos that the system permits it to access. Pixlide reads this information only when required by a relevant feature.
3.2 Limited Photos Access
When you allow Pixlide to access only selected photos, Pixlide processes only the content you authorize. You can still organize these photos, and you can increase or adjust the authorized selection through the management controls provided by iOS.
3.3 Denied / Restricted
If you deny access, or if a device policy sets the permission to restricted, Pixlide does not read the contents of your photo library. You can still open this Privacy Policy, the User Agreement, and other legal documents. Features that require photo access remain unavailable until you grant permission again in system settings.
4. How Photos and Videos Are Processed
All photo and video analysis by Pixlide is performed locally on the user’s device.
Pixlide does not upload users’ photos or videos to developer servers. The current version has no developer business server, remote photo database, or cloud photo backup feature. Pixlide does not sell users’ photos, videos, or personal data.
Pixlide does not copy users’ original photo files for long-term storage. A photo’s PHAsset.localIdentifier in the system photo library may be used as a local association identifier; it is not the binary content of the photo.
5. On-Device Analysis
Similar Photos analysis, Best Shot recommendations, Blurry Photos analysis, and Large Files analysis are all performed on iPhone. The results are used only to provide organization suggestions in the app and are not uploaded to developer servers.
On-device analysis may read local thumbnails, image properties, video properties, or system resource size information needed to complete the analysis. Pixlide does not copy original images outside the app or upload them to a network because of analysis.
6. Favorite and System Albums
When you use Favorite, Pixlide requests through PhotoKit that the Favorite status in the system photo library be changed.
When you choose to add items to a system album or create a system album, Pixlide requests the corresponding system album operation through PhotoKit. Album names, photo membership, and Favorite status are system photo library data controlled by Apple Photos and your device permissions.
7. Deleting Photos and Videos
Pixlide does not permanently delete a photo immediately merely because you swipe left during organization.
The current deletion flow usually includes the following steps:
- 1.During organization, you mark an item as “Delete Later.”
- 2.Pixlide displays the items pending deletion on the Delete Preview page.
- 3.You explicitly confirm the deletion again.
- 4.Pixlide requests that the system photo library perform the deletion through PhotoKit.
Deletion is a real modification to the system photo library. Whether deleted items enter “Recently Deleted,” and when they are permanently deleted, is determined by Apple Photos and the behavior of the current iOS system. Pixlide does not promise a fixed recovery period or that recovery will always be possible.
8. Local Organization State and Statistics
To support the organization flow, Pixlide may store its own temporary organization state, decisions, progress, statistics, and analysis result summaries on the device. This information is used to restore the interface, display organization statistics, and avoid duplicate processing.
Local organization state may be associated with PHAsset.localIdentifier, but it does not store photo or video binary content. Deleting Pixlide or using the reset statistics feature provided by the app affects the corresponding data saved by Pixlide; it does not delete items from the system photo library on your behalf.
9. Data Collection
In the current version, Pixlide does not actively collect or upload users’ photos, videos, or their content to developer servers. Pixlide does not currently integrate third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs, and it does not require an account or sign-in.
Apple App Store, StoreKit, iCloud Photos, and other system services process data under Apple’s own policies. The app may receive product, purchase result, and entitlement status information from StoreKit to determine on the device whether Pixlide PRO is available; Pixlide does not handle Apple’s payment processing.
10. iCloud Photos
Pixlide does not operate iCloud Photos cloud synchronization and does not actively upload photos to iCloud. If you have enabled iCloud Photos, deletions, Favorite changes, or system album operations performed in Pixlide may be synchronized by Apple Photos / iCloud Photos to other devices using the same Apple Account.
11. Third-Party SDKs and Services
The current version does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, third-party behavioral analytics SDKs, third-party Markdown SDKs, or other third-party services used to upload or analyze users’ photos. PhotoKit, Vision, Core Image, and StoreKit 2 used by the app are Apple platform capabilities.
12. Data Security
Pixlide accesses the photo library through permissions and system APIs provided by iOS. The app does not create developer-side photo copies or cloud photo backups. You should protect your device passcode, Apple Account, and system permission settings, and confirm that you have an appropriate backup before deleting important photos.
13. Data Retention
Pixlide stores only the app data needed to provide its features on the device, such as temporary decisions, organization progress, statistics, and necessary local association identifiers. Pixlide does not promise to retain photo content deleted by you or the system, and it does not retain original photos as app data for the long term.
14. Your Choices and Controls
You can:
- -Grant, limit, or revoke photo library permission in iOS Settings;
- -Full Access allows processing of photo library content within the authorized scope;
- -Limited Access allows processing only of the content you select.
- -Decide for yourself whether to keep, Delete Later, or mark an item as Favorite during organization.
- -Cancel or adjust items pending deletion before final deletion.
- -Use the app’s “Reset Organization Statistics” feature to clear the statistics saved by Pixlide.

15. Children’s Privacy
Pixlide is not directed at children and does not require users to submit their names, contact details, or account information. If a guardian believes that a child has used the service without appropriate consent, they may contact boyzhaosj@163.com.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy because of feature, legal, or system platform changes. The updated version will be provided in the app or through relevant distribution channels with a new effective date. Please review this page periodically.
